Parking Options for Concerts and Events
at the Shalin Liu Performance Center

For all off-season concerts, street parking is available. Rockport residents with stickers may use designated parking spots. Rockport National Bank and Granite Savings Banks lots may be available for parking unless otherwise reserved. Please call the Box Office (978-546-7391) for questions and updates about parking for specific events.

BEST OPTIONS

Free parking is often available at Rockport National Bank, 16 Main Street. Rockport Music ticket holders may park there – pending availability -- Monday through Friday after 6 PM; Saturday’s after
12 PM (noon); and Sunday’s all day. Enter the lot at the driveway just past the bank building on the left side of the street. Distance to Shalin Liu Performance Center: 200 ft. Please note that other organizations often have access to this lot, and on those days, Rockport Music patrons must seek other parking options. Please visit www.rockportmusic.org for a list of available dates.

If the bank lot is full or not available, proceed to the Peg Leg Inn parking lot on Beach Street. Enter the lot via the driveway opposite the Front Beach restrooms. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the lot is available for Performance Center ticket holders at a reduced rate of $8, after 5 PM (4 PM on Sundays). During the non-Summer months, when the Peg Leg Inn parking lot is reserved, parking for Rockport Music ticketholders is FREE. Distance to Performance Center: 350 yd. Please visit www.rockportmusic.org for a list of available dates.

Another option: if you’re driving up Main Street, turn left on School Street, then right on Broadway to the Town parking lot at 34 Broadway just past St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Limited free parking may be available. Parking is available to the general public from 6 PM to 2 AM. Additionally, the lot located at 26 Broadway (just before the Town parking lot) is available to the general public year-round. Distance to Performance Center: 120 yd.

Finally, use of unmetered spaces is encouraged. If possible, Rockport Music asks that you consider avoiding metered parking, as merchants and restaurants depend on these spaces for their patrons.
Meters are strictly enforced, 7 days a week, from 8AM to 6 PM.

EVENING ALTERNATIVE

If specifically noted on the website or in an email notification to ticketholders for a specific concert, when needed, the Ace Hardware parking lot is reserved for Rockport Music ticket holders. Located next to the MBTA railroad station, enter the lot off of Railroad Avenue. Distance to Performance Center: 1,000 yd (0.6 mile). There is no shuttle service.

DAYTIME ALTERNATIVE
Park & Ride: July, August and holiday weekends Memorial to Labor Day

When the Rockport National Bank is unavailable during business hours and Peg Leg Inn is full (no reduced rate before 5 PM, 4 PM on Sundays), use the Park and Ride lot located at the Rockport Transfer Station off Upper Main Street/Route 127. (If you’re driving into Rockport, it’s located on the right side of the street - the Sandy Bay Service Station will be on your left.) Enter the lot via the driveway marked Park & Ride. Shuttle service (every 20 minutes) to downtown Rockport is provided ($1.00 per ride) between 11 AM and 7 PM. Distance to Performance Center: 1 ½ mile.
