Don’t miss the Jay Geils All-Star Jazz & Blues Revue one-night-only performance. Showcasing rock legend Jay Geils from the J. Geils Band and Bluestime. Yes, THE Jay Geils, playing the music that was his first love, jazz and blues, an affair he has avidly pursued, garnering the highest acclaim from audiences and critics, ever since his Rock N Roll days. The band is a who's who of the regional Jazz and Blues scene.... award-winning jazz guitarist, and Berkley Alum Gerry Beaudoin; Award-winning saxophonist Harry Allen (about whom John Pizzarelli says 'Harry Allen's playing is nothing less than perfect."); Grammy winning Pianist & Saxophonist Fred Lipsius (of BLOOD, SWEAT, & TEARS) - Fred is a long time Professor at Berkley and the only staff member to have won a Grammy; and multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Doug 'Professor" Bell from the Bellevue Cadillac. The band is rounded out by Gerard Beaudoin on vibes, Les Harris Jr. on drums, and Jesse Williams on bass.
