Praised in Newsweek for her “gorgeous, joyful new sound,” singer-songwriter and clawhammer banjo player Abigail Washburn, performs works from her album City of Refuge, exploring the connections between old-time Americana and traditional Chinese poetry and folk songs. In demand around the country, Washburn has performed with members of My Morning Jacket, The Decemberists, and Old Crow Medicine Show, alongside Béla Fleck, and regularly opens for Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers.
