World-renowned jazz guitarist, singer, songwriter, and bandleader John Pizzarelli is one of the leading interpreters of American jazz standards--both vocal and instrumental. Mr. Pizzarelli has opened for such greats as Dave Brubeck, Ramsey Lewis, and Rosemary Clooney, and was honored to open for Frank Sinatra’s international tour and to perform at Sinatra’s 80th birthday bash at Carnegie Hall. With his recent smash success with the Boston Pops, he was hailed by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” Critics agree that Pizzarelli, with his rare flare, is “hip with a wink” (Town & Country), “madly creative” (Los Angeles Times), and “a rare entertainer of the old school” (New York Times).
