Broadway by the Sea: The Tides That Bind

(Pre-concert reception and silent auction, 7 pm)
Presented by Conquer Cancer Coalition and Voices of Hope

Details:

Hailed as “ordinary people on an extraordinary mission,” Voices of Hope makes a return appearance at the Shalin Liu to present a celebration of Broadway music and its articulation of the human spirit. Brought together by a shared love of musical theater and passion to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, more than 40 performers present an entertaining evening of song and dance guided by master of ceremonies Jordan Rich of WBZ News Radio 1030. Presented in partnership with the Conquer Cancer Coalition of Massachusetts, the evening will also feature a reception and silent auction with light refreshments starting at 7 pm.

Voices of Hope is an organization of local singers, dancers and musicians who donate their time and talent to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Named to Massachusetts General Hospital's "the one hundred" in 2011 for their efforts in the fight against cancer, Voices of Hope has donated more than $130,000 for cancer research since 2009. www.voicesofhopeboston.org

The Conquer Cancer Coalition of Massachusetts builds recognition for the experience shared by all who are touched by cancer and raises money to support the fight against all cancers through sales of a specialty license plate and contributions to the Cancer Garden of Hope on Boston’s City Hall Plaza. www.conquercancer.org
