Poco Acoustic Trio
Details:
Poco-- founded in 1968 by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield) and Jim Messina (Buffalo Springfield, Loggins & Messina)--was one of the earliest bands in the “country rock” genre that was later popularized by bands such as the Eagles. The group found platinum success early in their career and played alongside legends like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and The Who. More than 40 years later, pedal steel guitar virtuoso Rusty Young—who wrote and sang the hits “Crazy Love” and “Heart of The Night”—continues to lead this legendary band. They continue to play to crowds of “Poconuts” and build on the musical tradition that has been a hallmark of Poco for decades.
Poco Acoustic Trio is Rusty Young, Michael Webb and Jack Sundrud.
“Poco has a history unmatched by any band and we feel a responsibility to keep audiences
captivated with each and every concert. I’m excited about Poco’s future. It’s been a long ride and it just keeps getting better!”
