David Benoit and the Charlie Brown Christmas Trio

Over a career lasting more than thirty years, David Benoit has acquired a reputation as one of jazz’s most innovative pianists, especially in the smooth jazz genre where he is regarded as a pioneer. He has released more than 25 solo records which have garnered several Grammy Award nominations, and is the Musical Director and conductor of the Asia American Symphony Orchestra in Southern California. He has performed with numerous other orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, and won the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation “excellence in music education” award in 2001. He has long been passionate about the music of Peanuts composer Vince Guaraldi, resulting in numerous projects and recordings related to Peanuts.
