Join us for Jazz on the Rocks – Take 3, a special evening to benefit Rockport Music’s artistic programming and its commitment to education and outreach activities on Cape Ann and beyond. The evening features Grammy-nominated trumpeter Chris Botti, the most sought after jazz instrumentalist in the country. Critically acclaimed, Botti’s sound has been hailed as having “the softer side of luminosity…[with] flickering intimacy and thundering grandiosity” (The New York Times). Playing with his uniquely expressive, warm sound and soaring musical imagination, Botti has shared the stage with notable artists like Yo-Yo Ma, Andrea Bocelli, and Herbie Hancock, and will be touring with Barbra Streisand this fall.
