Details
Berklee World Strings, directed by cellist Eugene Friesen, features an international collection of Berklee's most accomplished and promising soloists, chamber players and fiddlers in a lively program that will include new compositions and arrangements from a wide variety of the world’s music. With a repertoire drawn from Celtic, bluegrass, South American, Arabic, Gypsy, jazz, and classical styles, Berklee World Strings redefines the traditional string orchestra with bright melodies, dance rhythms, improvisation and sparkling interplay.
