1. Boston Jazz Weekend

Starting Bid: $300

With its blend of rich history, high-style
luxury, and hometown warmth, The
Liberty Hotel offers the quintessential Boston experience. Located at the foot
of Beacon Hill, The Liberty Hotel creates an unrivaled guest experience!
Enjoy
dinner at Upstairs
on the Square,
in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge. “One of the
country’s top 10 new restaurants,” according to Food
and Wine. “Begin your gawking at the leopard-print carpet
and work your way up along the walls, handpainted à la Klimt,
and punctuated by huge porthole windows. Finish at the gilded mirror
ceiling. Somehow it all adds up to whimsical charm. The food, like
the pan-roasted duck foie gras with honey gastrique, can be as
luxe as the furnishings.” - The New York Times

4. Iguana sculpture by Chris Williams
Estimated Value: $1,500
Starting Bid: $600
Don’t miss the chance to display
this charming iguana sculpture by artist Chris
Williams in your garden! The sculpture’s
unique size makes it an incredibly flexible addition to your home’s
décor: the iguana
can shine as a centerpiece on a stone wall or peek out from a leafy
garden.
Born on Cape Ann in 1968, Mr. Williams’ life as an artist
began in the back of his family’s metal shop. His family's
fabrication business began in New York in the 1940s. In 1959, his
grandfather built a workshop in Rockport, and it was there that
Mr. Williams was dropped off after school to earn his allowance.
At that time, Mr. Williams didn't realize that metalworking could
be anything but strict engineering work, but in 1996, the light
bulb went off! Fourteen years later, he now works from his
home in Essex, and is still amazed by how what started out as a
fascination with welding has become a journey of creativity.
Beyond private collections, Mr. Williams’ sculptures have
been purchased by New England Biolabs; the Manchester, NH Airport;
and Bridgewater State University, and have been prominently displayed
at Boston’s Logan Airport and the InterContinental Boston.
